I've ran it a couple of times and rode it up and down the street. It smokes a lot and spits out thick oil. So I'm tearing it down anyway to replace all the gaskets and valve seals. After looking and measuring the cylinders ill decide if i should replace the rings. Probably will replace them anyway.
Here is a pic of the thick oil:

Hi all,
I will use this thread to show my progress on a café racer build I am doing for my 70' Honda CL450 Scrambler. This will be a long process and I will update when I can. I bought the bike from InspectorDG on 10/14/2012 and I found it from a friend of mine, racerx17x who found it on this site for sale.
The bike sat for over a decade before I got it, but InspectorDG got it running. I does burn a lot of oil, so i bought a complete gasket kit and valve seals. I will do a compression test before began to tear it down tonight.

Thanks for looking,
More to come...
